Getting You Back on Your Feet
Whether you're recovering from joint-replacement surgery, an injury treated in our Emergency Department, or a traumatic event such as a stroke, our Rehabilitation department will help you achieve the best recovery possible. St. Mary's multidisciplinary teams work together to design a plan that best meets your needs and goals. Our services include orthopedics, internal medicine, pain management, physiatry, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and an ergonomics program for work-related injuries. We provide services in both an inpatient and outpatient setting.
Not everyone requires full-time, intensive inpatient rehabilitation. For these patients, and for patients who finish their inpatient stays and are ready to go home, we offer outpatient rehab services for physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
Outpatient rehabilitation services are dedicated to promoting a healthy lifestyle. With a staff of highly skilled, compassionate professionals, St. Mary is home to a team of leading therapists and specialized physicians.
They create and implement individual treatment plans that are tailored to the patient's particular needs. The individualized approach and specialty rehabilitation programs are among the most progressive in Southern California. Following physician referral, the patient and therapist work together to develop an effective plan of care.

Our caring staff provides counseling and cognitive support to address the psychological and emotional needs of our patients when necessary.
