Bordered on the south by the Pacific Ocean, Long Beach is surrounded by beautiful sunrises and sunsets glistening off the water.

Long Beach provides residents with an abundance of opportunities to explore the outdoors. Some of our most popular local activities include whalewatching, watersports, surfing, boating and fishing.  Or golf at one of the many courses throughout the area or take a long bike ride along one of the many paths that wind through the community.

Enjoy adventures just outside of Long Beach, too. We're within driving distance of Los Angeles, Hollywood, Anaheim, and the beaches of Santa Monica  and Venice or the mountains, where you can ski, surf and sightsee. Long Beach residents often take quick getaways to Palm Springs, the California Coast, and the excitement of Las Vegas.
